How Kolsetu Began
Kolsetu was founded in late 2024 by Virendra and Ben, two operators who had spent years building technology for regulated industries in Europe.
They saw the same pattern everywhere: enterprises drowning in inbound calls, fragmented across channels, and losing revenue every hour their phones went unanswered. Existing automation was too brittle for regulated workflows and too generic for real enterprise needs.
So they built Elba: an AI workforce purpose-built for regulated enterprises. Not a chatbot. Not a call-centre tool. A compliant, multilingual AI agent that handles voice, WhatsApp, SMS, and email with the security posture these industries demand.
We exist to give regulated teams their time back, without compromising on trust.

Core Team
Ben brings over 20 years of experience building AI systems and leading product teams across healthcare, defense, and enterprise. His career began in elite Israeli military R&D with Unit 81, followed by deep learning research at FUSE-AI and independent work on automation in regulated sectors. He studied engineering at Tel Aviv University and trained in the prestigious Talpiot Program, before founding the Hamburg Global Innovators Circle to connect founders, technologists, and policymakers.
Virendra has more than 17 years of experience architecting distributed systems for global enterprises including Barclays, BlueJeans, and Sennder. Currently also heading Cloud Platform at IU Group, Virendra specializes in building secure, scalable AI infrastructure for regulated environments. A graduate of AIT Pune, he began his career through an early research internship at Harvard University, and continues to deliver trusted, high-impact technical solutions.
Yves-Philippe has nearly 20 years of experience in business continuity, information security, and compliance across global finance, software, and fintech. He began his career in Swiss banking and insurance before moving into software and later fintech, building privacy-first, scalable programs across a range of environments. A master's graduate from the University of Wales, he is a strong advocate for vulnerability research and believes in breaking systems early so they don't break when it matters.
Arpit leads AI at Kolsetu, with over a decade of experience building scalable, real-time systems. In the past three years, he has specialized in voice-first conversational platforms, integrating STT/TTS and low-latency orchestration to deliver enterprise-grade workflows akin to Elba. Previously an engineering lead at EP Technologies, with senior roles at Proximity Works, Pine Labs, and Verizon, he also holds a U.S. patent for cloud-based calendar syncing. A MANIT graduate, Arpit builds pragmatic, resilient solutions.
Or-Lee has spent the past decade operating as a chief of staff and business operations lead for executive teams through inflection points, including rapid headcount growth, new GTM motions, investor scrutiny, and scaling complexity. At Kolsetu, she builds the operating backbone that keeps leadership, product, and go-to-market execution aligned, turning strategy into clear cadences, priorities, and measurable outcomes. She focuses on creating systems that let teams move fast without losing accountability, clarity, or direction.
David Webster brings more than 30 years of enterprise sales leadership across Oracle, Quadient, and Mobius, with delivery experience across EMEA, Russia, the Middle East, and the UK. He has led complex buying cycles through procurement, legal, and multi-stakeholder decision paths in highly regulated environments. At Kolsetu, he leads sales with a practical operator mindset that helps teams build trust early, navigate enterprise motion, and close with discipline.
Shreyansh is a founding engineer with an entrepreneurial track record, having already built, shipped, and sold products before joining Kolsetu. He works on the core of Elba with a focus on clean architecture, reliability, and systems that age well as complexity grows, not just features that look good on day one. Alongside product engineering, he is helping drive India GTM with strong ownership and execution discipline, bringing a builder's mindset to both platform quality and market expansion.
